I recently had a stay at Marco Polo, located in a rather unconventional spot—a gas station by the roadside. While it might not be in the heart of the city, the hotel does have its merits. The room itself was warm, spacious, and clean, with a comfortable bed that provided a good night's sleep after a day of diving in the Caribbean. I appreciated the self check-in process, which allowed for an easy late arrival. Plus, if you’re traveling with pets, this place is pet-friendly—the owner was communicative and accommodating. There’s free parking conveniently located right outside, which I found quite helpful. The hotel offered basic amenities, including free toiletries and decent Wi-Fi. If you’re seeking comfort without splurging, Marco Polo presents a practical option. Just keep in mind its distance from activities. For those prioritizing budget over location, it’s worth considering for your next getaway.
